Why have I chosen the topic groups?
I have chosen the question groups for my exam. This particularly interests me as I could use groups of things I like and things that I have an interest in. I also think there will be lots of different things I could do and I'm excited to discover them. I would also like to experiment with lighting, different patterns, repetition, ect. I'm also looking forward to discovering different photographers.
Initial photoshoot - Circles
Best 6.
Refining the best photograph
I edited this photo by firstly changed the brightness and contrast, I then changed the levels. this made the line son the photo darker. I then changed the colour balance and the curves which made the lines browner. I like this more than the original picture because the background is darker and the contrast is better.

I edited this photo to make the bulbs stand out I firstly changed the colour balance and curves, I then changed the brightness and contrast this made the small wires inside the light bulbs more visible. I prefer this photo to the original as you can see more of the detail I the light bulbs.

Myoung Ho Lee.
My response to Myoung Ho Lee.`
Refining my response
Firstly I cropped the photo so the tree was the main part, I then rotated it so it would be the right way up. I then placed the photo again over the top of the original. I also cropped this one and made it much smaller.
Hannah Hoch.
I like Hannah's work, its colourful, bold and bright. I like the way she has used repetition in some of them.

Albert Renger-Patzsch.
I like Albert Renger-Patzschs work, he uses repetition and groups of things in lots of his photographs. I like how most of his photos are in black and white. I also like the way that the lines are structured and the black and white has made the lines stand out more.
